The Ombudsman provides an unbiased review process of requirements and competition. The Ombudsman also acts as an independent agent from the Contracting Officer responsible to handle concerns and issues from industry throughout the acquisition cycle. The Ombudsman position serves to provide open communication between Government and Industry regarding all issues ranging from technical information to process improvement.
