The Acquisition Management Support group is responsible for responding to Department of the Army tasks and questions, maintaining PEO and Department of the Army databases, providing support to the PEO and PMs on acquisition requirements and current status, and preparing budget justifications to Department of the Army, Office of the Secretary of Defense and Congress. The primary functional areas include:

Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) Liaison
