The Project Manager, Combined Arms Tactical Trainers (PM CATT) manages the development, acquisition, fielding and life-cycle support of the virtual synthetic environment and associated Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) to support individual, institutional and collective training. PM CATT refers to a group of high-fidelity, interactive, manned simulators; command, control and communications workstations; exercise control stations; After-Action Review (AAR) systems; and the virtual combined arms synthetic environment used to support virtual training up to battalion/ task force level. PM CATT’s virtual synthetic environment includes large-scale virtual terrain representations with synthetic natural environment effects and accredited Computer Generated Forces (CGF) that replicate adjacent, supporting and opposing forces.
