To provide classroom training for the C-27J Loadmaster Station to include a Left Hand Simul-Handle, Lock Ratchet Handle, Lock Indicating Wheel, Bomb Rack Manual Release Handle, a Visual Awareness Recognition Screen (VARS), an operational Right Hand Master Control Handle, Static Line Retriever Control Pendant, Intercommunication Control System (ICS) Panel and an Instructor Operator Station (IOS). The LMCRMT will be a stand-alone device linked to the Weapon System Trainer (WST) for communications only. The purpose of the LMCRMT components is to provide basic visual recognition and operational training for the C-27J Loadmaster station.
DESCRIPTION:
The LMCRMT will be designed to simulate the Loadmaster Station of a C-27J aircraft. An instructor-operator stations will allow the instructor to observe and control the simulation or allow the student to perform training scenarios without instructor intervention. The LMCRMT will be built as a representational loadmaster crew station (mock-up), i.e., not an exact replica. The aircraft equipment will be mounted on the floor or on a table accessible by the LM student in a manner to resemble the exact relative position as would be found in the aircraft. The LMCRMT will be a stand-alone device linked to the C-27J WST for voice communications only.
