DESCRIPTION:
The GH SOPTT system performs simulated operations across the Global Hawk high-altitude, long-endurance intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission spectrum. The trainer simulates all flight, navigation, air traffic, sensor system, and all other relevant displays and sensor operator crew interfaces. The trainer provides support for the execution and validation of the Global Hawk check list procedures and Training Task List (TTLs). The GH SOPTT system consists of two stations: Sensor Operator (SO) station and Instructor Operator Station (IOS). The GH SOPTT SO stations include the capability to train SOs in the functions they perform in the GH ground station. The GH SOPTT SO station configuration matches the look and feel, scale, physical orientation, and equipment positioning of the actual GH ground station. The GH SOPTT SO station simulates and presents data analysis functionality.
