MISSION:

To provide a collective training capability at the Combat Training Centers (CTCs), aviation homestations, ranges and deployed locations.

DESCRIPTION:

The LBA TESS is an advanced training system developed for the LBA to support force-on-force and force-on-target live training at the CTCs, aviation homestations and ranges. The system is comprised of aircraft and target hardware, a telemetry network, repeaters, and ground station. LBA TESS displays live training events in real time and enables trainers to control live-training exercises. LBA TESS simulates Apache weapons engagements to include SAL and RF Hellfire, rocket, and gun and provides an AAR capability.
