This update provides the following information:

The LVC-IA Recompete is now known as LVC-IA Enhanced Capability (LVC-IA EC).

One question was received as a result of Industry Day. The following is provided:

Question: Who will be responsible "for developing the cloud framework or architecture that will host LVC-IA"?

Answer: The Government will provide the cloud framework and architecture that will host LVC-IA; this is not a requirement of the LVC-IA contractor.

The current Tech Data Package (TDP) is now available. Sign and return the Distribution Agreement included below to Oanh Tran,, with a courtesy copy to Jackie Bushway, One TDP DVD will be provided, by mail, to each company. Include the POC’s name, company, complete address, phone

number, and email address.

The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), Program Manager Constructive Simulations (PM ConSim) is conducting an Industry Day to provide information to potential offerors about the Live, Virtual, Constructive-Integrating Architecture (LVC-IA) Recompete effort. It is anticipated the LVC-IA Recompete will be conducted under the PEO STRI STOCII contracting vehicle.

An Industry Day Meeting is scheduled for 0900-1100 on December 8, 2014, to provide information regarding this requirement.

The meeting will be held in Two Resource Square, at the Joint Development Integration Facility (JDIF), 12000 Research Parkway, Suite 300, Room 304A/B, in Orlando, FL 32826.

To ensure adequate space is available, organizations are limited to three representatives. Attendees shall pre-register providing their name, organization, phone number, and email address via email to the Contracts POC no later than 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. If you are a Foreign National, this must be indicated in your response.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to schedule a 45-minute one-on-one session. When pre-registering, please indicate your firm's desire to participate in an one-on-one session. Based on the number of interested parties, your firm's point of contact will be notified of your scheduled 45-minute one-on-one discussion with members of the Government project team.

The one-on-one sessions will be held in the same facility and room as the Industry Day Meeting, from 1300-1700 on Monday, December 8, 2014; and from 0900-1200 and 1300-1500 on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
