Mission
SVT is a single interconnected virtual system that enables the Soldier to train on and sustain Weapon proficiency, Use of Force, and Call For Fire missions. Soldiers can perform individual and collective training tasks using their assigned weapons and optics. SVT offers three capabilities into one single system utilizing Synthetic Training Environment-Software (STE-SW).
Description
SVT will replace legacy training systems Engagement Skills Trainer II (EST II), Call for Fire Trainer III (CFFT III), and the Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) Use of Force (UoF) capabilities. SVT is a single interconnected virtual system that enable the Soldiers to train on and sustain weapon proficiency, UoF and fire missions. Soldiers can perform individual and collective training tasks using their assigned weapons and optics. SVT offers three capabilities (Weapons Skills Development (WSD), Joint Fires Training (JFT) and UoF) in one single system utilizing Synthetic Training Environment – Software (STE -SW).
