Mission
U.S. Army Central (ARCENT) is the gateway to Southeast Asia for the U.S. Forces. Product Lead, Turn-Key Training Services (PdL TKTS) provides preparedness to forward deploying elements through support for live, virtual, constructive and gaming training environments for Armored Brigade Combat Teams (ABCT), Security Forces (SECFOR), Combat Aviation Brigades (CAB) and other ARCENT controlled units.
Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command Orlando has a requirement to procure Training Support Services (TSS) for PEO STRI to support the ARCENT mission in Kuwait and other locations within the ARCENT area of operations (AO). The TSS provides technical expertise, system operators, maintenance and life-cycle support for the sustainment, operations and support management of numerous Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) within the ARCENT AO. Instruction, Operation, and Maintenance (I/O & M) support of the various types of live training ranges, equipment, and facilities are a primary duty of the service providers. The Contractor shall provide TSS across the following ARCENT established resource sets: ARCENT Readiness Training Center (ARTC), Udairi Range Complex (URC) and the Training Support Center (TSC) which has two locations: Camp Buehring, and Camp Arifjan.
System Interdependencies
Project Manager Synthetic Environment (PM SE) and Project Manager Soldier Training (PM ST). These PM’s provide life cycle updates to associated TADSS to include concurrency, technical refresh, and obsolescence upgrades. These efforts assist Project Lead TADSS Support Operations (PL TSO) with extending the useful life and lowering sustainment costs of fielded systems.
