PEO STRI SkillBridge Internship Opportunity
The PEO STRI SkillBridge Internship is an opportunity for transitioning servicemembers to gain valuable civilian work experience within federal acquisition through an individual internship. Currently our opportunities are based on current PEO STRI program availability and the servicemember's unique goals and experience.
PEO STRI Interns will work under close supervision of existing staff and perform duties and activities in an area within defense acquisition based on their individual interest and experience. They will meet with their assigned supervisor to develop an individualized training/education plan with goals and learning outcomes to ensure the training provides them the valuable skills and experience to improve their employment options upon separation from military service.
If interested, please provide a written statement of your interest and career goals as well as a current copy of your resume to the Talent Management Directorate: usarmy.orlando.peo-stri.mbx.talent-management@army.mil. Once we receive your resume and statement, we will provide this to manager within a related functional area to verify the availability of an open spot.
Opportunities may be available for servicemembers with business or finance degrees, engineers, and some limited opportunities within logistics. Because this is an individualized internship program, submission of your resume does not guarantee your spot in this internship program. Acceptance will be based on your background and the current availability of opportunities within PEO STRI. If there is not a current opportunity, we will keep your resume on file in case something opens in the future.
