Mission
Provide institutional diagnostic troubleshooting/maintenance trainers for Army Ordnance Schools and Regional Training Site Maintenance locations. The DTT provides skill level development for system operation, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, adjustments, removal and replacement and repair tasks.
Description
Diagnostic Troubleshooting Trainers (DTTs) provide interactive visual and audio maintenance training in a virtual classroom environment. The classroom includes at least one Instructor/Operator Station (IOS) and multiple Student Workstations (SWS).Hands on Trainers (HOT) provide high fidelity, system/subsystem full scale representation and allow student access to hardware for fault isolation and subsequent repair training of LRUs.
The Diagnostic Troubleshooting Trainer (DTT) is a classroom-hosted computer-based courseware for ground vehicle maintenance. No actual physical vehicle hardware is utilized. Students interact with the DTTs via keyboard, mouse, and touchscreen. DTTs are located in 27 classrooms at Fort Moore, Fort Gregg-Adams and various RTSMs.
